Pueblo of the Rounded Earth, established in 1300 AD, is situated on the Nambé Creek in the lower foothills of the Sangre de Cristo Mountain Range under the shoulder of Santa Fe's Mount Baldy. Natural waterfalls, the flowing river, lake and camping areas in the mountains; along with unusual rock formations located throughout the pueblo create aesthetic and serene scenarios that make this an ideal location for filming. John Carpenter's Vampires, City Slickers, Earth 2, and White Sands are just a few movies that have filmed here.
