Summary: Familiarize yourself with physical special effects. This workshops shall include physical not CGI effects such as fire, rain snow, explosions and bullet hits. Permits, licensing, record keeping and most importantly SAFETY will also be covered. In addition to being a NM resident 18 years of age or older, pre-requisites include Film General Safety Certification. Audience: IATSE 480 members, film technician students/graduates, and film crew with related film experience pursuing this craft department.

All workshops are tentative until contract approval. Workshops may be rescheduled if minimum attendee requirement is not met.
